Update: Missing fish along Queens Quay!

Will be missed!

Yesterday, I discovered that the whimsical school of bronze fish which used to lie on the sidewalk by the Second Cup near Queens Quay Terminal are gone!

In their place, ugly patches of dark asphalt which look like scars. Anyone know where they are?

Will be missed!
I was at The Distillery last week and the huge metal creature greeting us on the west side of the site was still standing. I just learned from a blog by Steve Kupferman for torontoist.com that it's been dismantled!

It's when it's gone that you realize how much outdoor art adds to a place.

Don't worry. There's still plenty of art to be admired throughout The Distillery.
